In domaining news from the XYZ registry, which recently published its fourth quarter 2018 report, the registry shared some internal and external statistics from the extensions the registry manages, Domain Investing reported.
Among the properties the registry manages are .XYZ, .Cars, .Auto, .Rent, .Storage, .Theatre, .College, .Security and Protection, the report said.
Domain Incite has called the report a “quarterly report,” but it appears some of the information is compiled from the full 2018 year instead of just the fourth quarter.
The report offers the following information on XYZ:
▪️ 100 percent response rate to abuse reports;
▪️ 3,059 variably priced domain names sold;
▪️ $7 million in funding received by “XYZ adopters”;
In addition, the quarterly report share details about companies using XYZ-operated domain name extensions, including Starship.XYZ, PublicSpace.XYZ, Engine.XYZ, and Chronicle.Security, the report said.
Not everything is rosy for the XYZ registry, Domain Incite reports. For instance, .top, loan and other gTLD extensions are used in email.
