The Hollywood Foreign Press Association hosted the nomination ceremony for the 76th Golden Globes Thursday morning with Adam McKay’s Dick Cheney biopic “Vice,” leading the way with six nominations, The Washington Post reported.

“Vice” was followed closely by the Bradley Cooper-Lady Gaga remake of “A Star Is Born” and the interracial road-trip drama “Green Book” and period romp “The Favourite,” the report said.

“Vice” was nominated in the best motion picture comedy or musical category, the Los Angeles Times reported. On the TV side, "The Assassination of Gianni Versace” was the top nominee.

The Golden Globe Awards are scheduled to air live on NBC from the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Jan. 6 beginning at 8 p.m.
